My Princess of the Western Regions
Modern archaeology enthusiast Bai Muli accidentally travels through time while researching ancient bells in the Western Regions. He meets Aimu, the princess of the mysterious Jingjue Kingdom who is escaping her arranged marriage, in a grotto. With Bai Muli's help, Aimu outwits the malicious prince Shaye of the Shache Kingdom, her would-be betrothed, at every turn. After going through all kinds of hardships, Princess Aimu and Bai Muli join hands to enter the Jingjue Kingdom and expose the conspiracy of the Shache Kingdom, resolving the crisis of the Jingjue Kingdom. Just as the two are about to travel together through the Western Regions and Chang'an as promised, a rift in time and space sends Bai Muli back to the modern era, leaving Aimu to search for traces of her beloved in the vast desert.
