Plot Synopsis

Fang Ran was born into a twisted family. Her father, Fang Haihe, made a fortune by selling the stolen gold candlesticks he picked up. Her stepmother, Li Meifeng, and her sister, Fang Jiayue, often bullied her. She used to depend on her neighbor, Dogdan. Dogdan left and gave her the Ocean Star as a token. When she grew up, her father wanted to marry her to the mentally ill Gao Sheng. Her pen pal, Z, helped her escape the marriage. However, she encountered Fang Jiayue and Gao Sheng. During the conflict, a fire broke out in the warehouse. Z saved her. Three years later, Fang Ran changed her name to Zhou Qinglang and got a job in the company where Fang Jiayue worked to take revenge. She met the company president, Jin Mozhou. With his help, she brought Fang and Gao to justice. Eventually, she found out that Dogdan, Z, and Jin Mozhou were the same person. The film tells a tragic story in a comical way, combining entertainment and profound meaning.
