Yongzheng, Xiaodie and Nian Gengyao

Plot Synopsis

Xiaodie and Nian Gengyao were childhood sweethearts and deeply in love with each other, but they encountered strong opposition from Nian's father and couldn't be together as they wished. Xiaodie later followed Lu Sinian to learn martial arts, and Nian Gengyao became a favored general beside Yinzhen. Unexpectedly, after Yinzhen went to the Shaolin Temple, he met Xiaodie. After several setbacks, he finally brought Xiaodie into the palace. Xiaodie met Nian Gengyao again. To show his loyalty to Yinzhen, Nian Gengyao had to suppress his feelings. However, Xiaodie remained true to her original feelings and still deeply loved Nian Gengyao. After Yinzhen found out about this, he managed to kill Nian Gengyao. Upon hearing the news, Xiaodie died for love with Nian Gengyao.
