Wrong Love Leads to Marriage

Plot Synopsis

The female protagonist, Si Lian, lives in an ordinary well-off family. She has an older sister and a younger brother in the family, and she is the least favored one. When Si Lian's younger brother was getting married, her family forced her to pay the down payment for a house. But because the betrothal gifts were not enough, her parents then gave her to the wealthy businessman, Mr. Zhang, hoping to get some money in exchange. Unexpectedly, they found that Si Lian was no longer a virgin, and the almost-secured betrothal gifts went down the drain. Her parents then drove Si Lian and her grandmother out of the house. After this incident, her grandmother couldn't bear the shock and was hospitalized. While in the hospital, she begged Si Lian to marry the grandson of her best friend. To comfort her grandmother, Si Lian chose to agree to a flash marriage with the person introduced by her grandmother. The two got their marriage certificates without ever having met each other.
