Plot Synopsis

Chu Yue, a cynical and talented drug researcher, was framed and burdened with huge debts due to an experimental accident. Once, Chu Yue was rescued by Rong Shu during a kidnapping. After that, the two cooperated. Chu Yue worked for Rong Shu, and Rong Shu took on Chu Yue's debts. The two probed and used each other. Gradually, they grasped the evidence that the Rong family was privately manufacturing and trafficking mind-control drugs and destroyed the Rong family in one fell swoop. Chu Yue knew that both she and Rong Shu were cold-hearted people inside, and there would be no good outcome for them. After the case of the Rong family was over, Chu Yue went far away. Rong Shu realized that he couldn't live without Chu Yue and chased after his wife thousands of miles away.
