Plot Synopsis

In the last battle to liberate Yunnan, the wife of Wu Jin, a Kuomintang major general, and the wife of Xia Zhenzhong, a PLA cadre, gave birth to children at the same time in the midst of the war. Mrs. Wu died of dystocia, and her child was adopted by Xia Zhenzhong, but no one knew which one was Xia Zhenzhong's biological child. The two children, Xia Tian and Xia Yun, grew up.
