Plot Synopsis

Lin Hui, a rural woman, took care of her school-going daughter and mother-in-law who was paralyzed on one side of her body alone in the village. She had been living separately from her husband for years, and their relationship had become estranged. Seeing that her daughter was admitted to university, Lin Hui planned to end the ten-year separation from her husband. However, at this critical moment, her daughter Bai Miao was suddenly killed and her body was exposed in the wilderness. What made Lin Hui most devastated was that she had been at the scene of the murder, but for some reason Bai Miao didn't cry out for help, causing her to miss the chance to meet Lin Hui who was looking for her. Lin Hui was in utter despair and finally chose to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. Unexpectedly, this led to a cycle of reincarnation.
