Plot Synopsis

In a courtyard in a certain city, there lived two families. The Zhang family and the Li family had been neighbors for many years. Living under the same roof, they had deep affection for each other and would help each other whenever there was a little trouble in life. However, living together inevitably led to frictions, and there were always some more or less contradictions between the two families. Aunt Zhang and Uncle Zhang often complained that the people in the Li family were all shrewd and would never suffer any losses and were not to be trifled with.
