Plot Synopsis

In 3422, the sub-light-speed spaceship Expedition woke up ahead of schedule due to a malfunction in Captain Wang Xiaoning's hibernation pod and unexpectedly encountered the female alien Aaliyah from the planet Galiya. She came for friendly exchanges after deciphering the Earth Sound CD but was stranded due to a spaceship malfunction. Aaliyah demonstrated black hole traversal technology far beyond that of Earth and a lifespan of five thousand years. When helping to repair the hibernation pod, she became an eternal partner with the android Jigu. During the interstellar journey, the crew members were intertwined with their longing for their hometown and their confusion about survival.
