Plot Synopsis

Gu Yun was trafficked when she was young and sold to Lin Hu, an old bachelor. Lin Hu was addicted to alcohol and lust. He not only took the hard-earned money of Gu Yun to gamble, but also always beat and scolded Gu Yun. Gu Yun couldn't bear it and was about to drink pesticide to commit suicide, but was seen by the young Lin Xi. Lin Xi cried and screamed, not allowing her mother to die. After Gu Yun drank the pesticide, she was discovered by Lin Hu who came back. Lin Hu was afraid that if he sent Gu Yun to the hospital, the matter of buying a wife would be exposed, so he directly buried her and took the young Lin Xi home.
