Plot Synopsis

Su Ning is a native of Majia Village. He has done a lot for the village, helping the villagers get out of poverty and become rich, building bridges and paving roads. However, who could have thought that greed can overreach itself. The people of Majia Village accused him of being black-hearted for making a profit of 30 cents and drove his whole family out of the village. Later, the village chief of Taohua Village heard about their misfortune and took in Su Ning's whole family, thus starting the path of getting out of poverty and becoming rich for Taohua Village.
