Plot Synopsis

This Spy Killed Me tells the story of Tan Shuang who becomes a "silly spy" due to a misunderstanding and accidentally gets involved in a battle for confidential documents while looking for Zhang Dali. In City A, he and his childhood sweetheart Chen Qian encounter a series of hilarious adventures - from renting a house farce to being chased by multiple forces, with constant gags. Zhang Dali is touched by Tan Shuang's kindness and helps rescue the kidnapped Chen Qian. The two use funny methods to sneak into the enemy camp to resolve the crisis, and during this process, Tan Shuang exposes the conspiracy and realizes his feelings for Chen Qian. Finally, Tan Shuang gives up the reward and chooses to wander the world with Chen Qian, continuing their happy journey.
