Plot Synopsis

Zhiqiang lost his job after getting his leg injured at work. His snobbish mother, Jin Hua, used to brag about him a lot before. Juanzi, who grew up with him, was in love with Zhiqiang, but Zhiqiang regarded her as his sister. After Zhiqiang's leg injury, it was difficult for him to go on blind dates. Juanzi's family wanted to arrange a cross-marriage because of her brother's intellectual problems, asking Juanzi to marry Zhiqiang and Zhiqiang's sister to marry Juanzi's brother on the eighth day of the lunar month. Chuba refused to agree, and Juanzi left home for fear that Chuba would be wronged. Later, Zhiqiang saved Xiaomin who fainted due to escaping the arranged marriage, and Jin Hua disliked Xiaomin. Xiaomin's eldest brother came and cured Zhiqiang's leg. Xiaomin gave birth to a girl and was disliked by Jin Hua. Eventually, Jin Hua accepted Xiaomin, and the family lived happily ever after.
