Plot Synopsis

Wang Xi was tricked by her best friend Wu Lili into going to Xingfu Village and was forced to marry Wu Degui, who already had a wife and daughter, just for the purpose of carrying on the family line. Wu Degui's wife, Li Jiafeng, pretended to be crazy to protect her daughter and secretly helped Wang Xi escape, but was caught and brought back several times. In despair, Wang Xi discovered that Ling Heng, the president who came to the village for an inspection, was actually her long-lost elder brother. However, Wu Lili falsely claimed this identity and became the eldest miss of the Ling family, and the Wu family gained power. Wu Degui intended to get rid of Wang Xi and Li Jiafeng and her daughter. To save her daughter, Li Jiafeng joined hands with Wang Xi to sow discord within the Wu family, but was exposed and died. In grief, Wang Xi was determined to fight back, expose the evils of Xingfu Village, and seek justice for Li Jiafeng and herself.
