Plot Synopsis

Jiang Yao's mother died early. She was not favored by her father, Jiang Yuan, and suffered from the harshness of her stepmother, Liu Ya, and the bullying of her younger brother, Jiang Yu. To make matters worse, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was on the verge of death. On New Year's Eve, Jiang Yao was even knocked down by Jiang Yuan, who was driving drunk. Jiang Yuan fled the scene of the accident without knowing that it was his own daughter he had hit. Later, Jiang Yao managed to get back home on her own.
