Plot Synopsis

During the Republic of China period, Wen Zhengqing favored his concubine and mistreated his wife, sending his legitimate daughter Wen Mian to the countryside. Fifteen years later, Wen Zhengqing wanted to curry favor with the military governor's mansion and prepared to arrange a marriage alliance with it.
