The Wrath of the Snake King

Plot Synopsis

The story begins with the old man Zhou, once known as the "Snake King" in the neighborhood. Old man Zhou's real name is unknown. Because of his superb snake-catching skills when he was young, he was hailed as the "Snake King". However, more than a decade ago, he lost his son and daughter-in-law due to an accident. Since then, he quit his job, lived in seclusion in the village, and no longer engaged in snake-catching. But the peaceful life didn't last long. A series of strange events broke the tranquility of Siyuan Village. Old man Zhou was accidentally discovered by the villagers carrying a mysterious snake skin bag, which seemed to contain something alive, triggering the speculation and discussion among the villagers.
