Plot Synopsis

Prince Xiao Jingcheng was framed by his elder brother, the crown prince Xiao Jingyan, in his previous life and was赐死 (forced to commit suicide) by the emperor together with his mother concubine. After being reborn, he saw through the vicious plot and successively识破 the conspiracy during the medicine delivery and the和亲 banquet (peace-making banquet). During the disaster in Luocheng, he won the hearts of the people with ingenious strategies. Facing the rebellion of his elder brother who colluded with foreign enemies, he laid out a tight net and crushed the rebellion at the重阳宫宴 (Chongyang Palace banquet), and finally was passed the throne by the emperor.
