Plot Synopsis

The story takes place in the waning years of the fictional Great Qi Dynasty. With the political situation in turmoil, the common people rose up in revolt one after another. The Ge family was a well-known family of gold leaf craftsmen. Due to the murder of their father, Ge Jinny and her younger brother Ge Jinniu were forced to enter the Huai Prince's Mansion to build a golden house for him. Ge Jinny took this opportunity to investigate her father's death. During this period, she met and fell in love with Qin Jianming, a counselor of the Huai Prince. Qin Jianming had a rough life experience. He was originally the son of the leader of the Xueyi Gang in the south of the Yangtze River. To avoid the disaster of his clan, he changed his name and concealed his identity.
