Plot Synopsis

Liang Hongying was a young woman who abided by the rules in the ancient village. In order to find a suitable marriage for her elder brother, she took the path of arranged marriage by exchange. She ruthlessly cut off her feelings for her first love, Liu Jingen, and after going through many twists and turns, she married into a family in the neighboring village, only to find that her husband, Datou, had an intellectual disability. Liang Hongying accepted the reality and served her husband and mother-in-law conscientiously. She had thought that her life would be peaceful from then on, but unexpectedly, fate played tricks on her. Datou brought back Erli, the baby girl who had been abandoned by Jingen's mother. And unfortunately, her husband Datou drowned to death.
