Plot Synopsis

The resourceful Chen Mengji, in order to inquire about the whereabouts of his junior female fellow apprentice, came to Shunde together with his servant. Later, upon learning that the famous crafty Scribe Huangtangjing in the local area was extremely mean and stingy by nature, he disguised himself as a servant to apply for a job and put forward three conditions. Unexpectedly, he often caught Huangtangjing on the raw, and a series of intense battles of wits and courage ensued immediately.
