Plot Synopsis

The female lead and the male lead are childhood sweethearts who grew up together. Due to his family's poverty, the male lead chose to drop out of school and work before the college entrance examination. The female lead, who had always liked the male lead, couldn't bear to see his talent wasted, so she lent him the betrothal gift money given by her parents to pay for his college education. The male lead also promised not to let her down. However, the male lead's mother suddenly fell seriously ill. The male lead had no choice but to use the money for school to treat his mother's illness, and thus he couldn't go to college himself. But the female lead always stayed by the male lead's side, never leaving or forsaking him. Later, the male lead was unexpectedly favored by a wealthy man and was invited to work in his company. Under the threat of the female lead's life, the male lead had to leave.
