The Unfulfilled Promise

Plot Synopsis

Chen Jianguo learned from his wife Lin Su that their son had been in a car accident and needed emergency treatment. However, as the dean, instead of believing Lin Su's words, he even turned off his mobile phone just to accompany his "white moonlight" on a trip. By the time Chen Jianguo returned from the trip, he found that his son had already passed away. As an unqualified husband and father, he missed the chance to see his son for the last time because of a phone call.
