Plot Synopsis

In the early 1980s, the three Tong brothers, who had just emerged from the shadow of losing their parents in a major earthquake, lost their eldest sister who had been taking care of them. The eldest sister died of dystocia, leaving a baby girl named Tong Chengcheng to the three brothers. Tong Jiageng, the eldest brother, was left by his girlfriend because he insisted on raising Tong Chengcheng by himself. Tong Jiayang, the second brother, was imprisoned for intentionally injuring others. All the pressure fell on Tong Jiageng's shoulders. He had to work, take care of Tong Chengcheng and Tong Jialiang, the youngest brother who was still in school. Tong Jiageng didn't complain or give up. With tenacious perseverance, despite many setbacks, Tong Jiageng finally got this big family on the right track.
