The Tomb of the Yellow Weasel

Plot Synopsis

When Zhuang Dayong accidentally killed a pregnant black-mouthed weasel while hunting, strange things have happened continuously in the Zhuang family since then. Chickens and ducks inexplicably jumped into wells, and the firewood shed caught fire on a rainy day. His sister-in-law Yang Caidie also behaved strangely, eating raw chicken, chasing chickens and ducks late at night, and even "being asked by the yellow weasel to grant a title". Zhuang's mother was superstitious and thought it was the revenge of the Yellow Great Immortal, so she wanted to worship gods and Buddha. However, Zhuang Dayong detected something fishy and finally saw through the conspiracy that Yang Caidie and Chen the blind man had colluded to deceive all the savings of the Zhuang family by setting up a trap with "the revenge of the yellow weasel". He called the police and arrested the two, uncovering the calculations of people's hearts behind superstition.
