Plot Synopsis

Long Zhaofeng, the head chef of Hongfu Restaurant who has dominated the culinary world for thirty years, was reported by his apprentice Tang San after losing his sense of taste. Boss Huang was determined to drive Long Zhaofeng out of Hongfu Restaurant. In order to take away the plaque of "Jinyu Mantang" (meaning "abundance of gold and jade", often used to imply prosperity and richness, here probably referring to a sign of the restaurant's glory or something similar), Long Zhaofeng will have a once-in-a-century master-apprentice showdown with Tang San. Boss Huang has invited Master Ma from the Beijing circle, Qi Meiyu from Zhenwei Pavilion, and Shen Meng from Shiweitian to be the judges, causing a sensation in the culinary world of Haicheng. Hongfu Restaurant is about to face a life-and-death battle of cuisine! Who will emerge victorious in the end?
