The Strange Case of Tang Mansion by Di Renjie

Plot Synopsis

During the Wu Zhou period of the Tang Dynasty, a homicide case occurred in Jiangzhou, which had been peaceful originally. Master Tang was assassinated by a musician named Xiu Jie at his birthday banquet. Fortunately, he was only slightly injured. However, unexpectedly, he still couldn't escape the doom and died mysteriously after the banquet. Di Renjie of the Dali Temple was ordered to investigate and went to the Tang Mansion.
