The Secret of the Baijia Garden

Plot Synopsis

This drama is created based on the real history of the Beijia Garden, a cultural relic building in Haidian District, Beijing. The founder of the Beijia Garden, Bayeux, was called by the General Secretary "a French doctor who risked his life to open a bicycle Hump Route and transported precious drugs to the Chinese anti-Japanese base areas". During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, French doctor Bayeux, underground Communist Party member Huang Hao and other patriots took the Beijia Garden as a secret transportation station, outwitted and fought against the Japanese invaders, and transported drugs to the anti-Japanese base areas, demonstrating the anti-fascist alliance and the spirit of internationalism of the Chinese people and international friends united in the war of resistance.
