Plot Synopsis

Guihua and her younger brother Daqing have both reached the age of marriage. Daqing is in love with Xiaofang, his childhood sweetheart. Because Guihua is not married, Xiaofang's mother objects. Guihua has no choice but to go on a blind date and doesn't take a fancy to the honest Dashun. Later, Guihua is bullied by the village bully, and her classmate Ershun comes to her rescue. The two develop feelings for each other. Ershun still insists on proposing marriage after learning that Guihua has been on a blind date with his elder brother Dashun. Guihua demands to be in charge of the family. At Ershun's pleading, his mother and his aunt Zhang Shuying reluctantly agree. After marriage, Zhang Shuying刁难 Guihua, but Guihua wins the recognition of her family with her ability. Dashun likes his neighbor Li Yanfen. Due to the hatred between their fathers, he is opposed by his mother and then leaves home. Guihua helps the two reunite, and the whole family finally gains happiness.
