Plot Synopsis

There was a severe drought across the land and a plague of locusts was rampant. The Emperor of Xia visited the thatched cottage three times to invite the male protagonist, Su Yi, to come out of seclusion and develop insecticides. However, he was deposed by the female protagonist, Yun Ge (the princess of the Xia Kingdom), who mistook him for a moth. His achievements were claimed by a male antagonist with the same name.
