Plot Synopsis

After Princess Zhenguo Nie Anlan retired from the imperial court, she married her daughter Xie Qingqing to Zhao Zhongxian, the son of the personal guard and General Zhenguo. However, unexpectedly, Zhao Zhongxian and his evil mother-in-law abused Xie Qingqing in order to marry the daughter of the prime minister. They killed Xie Qingqing's newly born daughter and sent Xie Qingqing to be toyed with by local ruffians. After learning about this matter, Princess Zhenguo was furious. She rushed to the inn with a knife, wanting to avenge her daughter, but just happened to witness Xie Qingqing commit suicide with hatred. Nie Anlan was devastated and desperate. She vowed to make all those who had bullied her daughter pay the price. However, during the process of revenge, a bigger conspiracy behind it was uncovered.
