The Poor Father and His Unfortunate Daughters

Plot Synopsis

This play tells the story of a family in a mountain village in Guizhou. The father lost his wife when he was young and raised his two daughters alone. The two daughters also began to experience the various aspects of life. The several of them struggled, compromised, and tolerated each other, grew up together, and strived to find the true meaning of life in the colorful life. In life, they are filial, maintaining good qualities, and loving and taking care of their father.
