Plot Synopsis
Xi Yan, a kind mermaid from the Immortality Mountain, was deceived and lured into the palace by Su Manqing and killed. Her elder sister, Chao Yan, avenged her sister by entering the palace and getting close to the favored Su Manqing. Su Manqing suffered greatly from seizing the Immortality Technique through soul snatching. Chao Yan pretended to help and gained her trust. When Su Manqing was about to be conferred the title of imperial concubine, Chao Yan successfully exposed her and finally avenged her sister.
