Plot Synopsis

Xiao Jing'an is the War God, Prince Jing. He was ambushed and poisoned by Gu during suppressing the rebellion and was saved by Nan Yueling, the Saintess of the Southern Border. Due to the Gu poison, Xiao Jing'an's eyesight was severely damaged. Under the care of Nan Yueling, the two fell in love with each other. However, because of the difference in their identities, they both concealed their true identities. Nan Yueling helped Xiao Jing'an recover his eyesight, but accidentally exposed Xiao Jing'an's whereabouts. Nan Yueling then transferred the Gu poison onto herself. After the defeat of the Southern Border, the Saintess was sent for a marriage alliance. The two met again, but failed to recognize each other. Nan Yueling's eyesight was damaged due to the Gu poison. Shen Zhaozhao, who adored Xiao Jing'an, had her illusions shattered by the marriage alliance and transferred her resentment onto Nan Yueling, making the path to their recognition even more bumpy.
