Plot Synopsis
This film tells the story of Xu Song, the eldest son of the Xu family in Qian'an Town at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. This drama is driving me crazy. I've watched 3 episodes. The camera work is so poor and the script is so weak. The actors are just okay actually. I found something wrong right from the first shot of the drama. The camera work is too amateurish. The scene of the parade of ghosts is shot so blandly. Are you going to use steady and fixed long shots to film something tense??? Just move the camera a bit, push the camera when casting spells, etc. It's driving me crazy! When I watched the second episode, the problems are even bigger. No one can come out alive, and then, you arrange two NPCs. This drama is just at the level of two stars, four points.
