Plot Synopsis

In 1929, the Chiang-Gui War broke out. Qin Wenyong, a Communist Party member, came to Nanning with the task of winning over the armed forces of the Guangxi clique. The person he was going to win over was his sworn brother Zhang Yunlin, while his other sworn brother Man Haizi defected to Chiang Kai-shek due to a misunderstanding. The three brothers engaged in a contest because of their different stances and beliefs. Under the inspiration of the revolution, Zhang Yunlin launched an uprising and finally sacrificed his life for the revolution on the battlefield. Man Haizi went through various contradictions and conflicts, learned the truth, and also died on the battlefield. Qin Wenyong's close lover, Lin Yao, went through various trials and followed Qin Wenyong to join the Communist Party.
