Plot Synopsis

By chance, Lin Xi saved Huo Tingshen who was injured and blind. She stayed by Huo Tingshen's side and took good care of him during his surgery. However, on the day when Huo Tingshen regained his sight, Lin Man, Lin Xi's sister, went to see Huo Tingshen instead of Lin Xi, and Huo Tingshen mistook Lin Man for Lin Xi. A year later, Huo Tingshen's eyes had completely recovered. He returned to the country to propose to Lin Man, but he saw the real Lin Xi who had saved him first. Lin Xi summoned up the courage to identify herself, but Lin Man interfered and caused Huo Tingshen to misunderstand Lin Xi. Lin Xi was heartbroken and left Huo Tingshen completely. Meanwhile, Huo Tingshen learned from Jiang Yu'an, the attending doctor, that Lin Xi was the true love in his heart.
