Plot Synopsis
Modern postgraduate Shen Heng was reborn as the early-deceased first wife of the great villain Xie Jian in history. To save her life, she agreed with Xie Jian to divorce after one year. Xie Jian was redeemed by Shen Heng and gradually walked from darkness to light, ultimately rewriting his tragic fate in his previous life.
Audience Reviews
The story is quite good. It's just that the rhythm is strange.
The screenwriter is not good.
As I watch the later more than sixty episodes, it's really getting increasingly difficult. The female lead really has absolutely no sense of boundaries at all. Even in modern times, it's quite annoying to always talk about other men like that. Considering there's only a small part left, I just managed to finish it by forcing myself.
Li Youlin's acting skills have improved a lot. The only thing I don't understand is what kind of feelings the male lead had for the original female lead in the previous life.
Finally, I actually started to find the little male lead pleasing to the eye. At first, he was scheming against the big bad wolf, but later he became a little white dog seeking hugs. If he asks for a kiss and is not allowed, I even want to forcefully kiss him. Hint: The first kiss is in episode 56, and they consumate their marriage in episode 81. The kisses are so sweet~
Something is lacking.
Haha, So funny!
ugly
The character design defies convention and the plot is logical. The leading actor is so handsome, looking like Huang Xiaoming during the period of "The Son of Heaven of the Han Dynasty".
The male and female leads are good-looking. The actor playing the male lead seems to be a perfect fit for this role. I don't really like the female lead. She's a bit overstepping the boundaries. The male lead was originally ruthless, dark, and crazy, but was well-raised by the female lead and Master Lu, turning into a cute dog. I felt really uncomfortable watching when there was an information asymmetry between the male and female leads in the middle and late stages. The growth route of the male lead is beautifully written and I really like it. The modern ending is so strange. What's the meaning? The eldest sister-in-law and nephew are especially nice to the female lead. Master Lu is even more of a saint.
