Plot Synopsis

The mermaid princess Long Mei gouged out her voice and exchanged it for legs to save the young marshal Huo Zhenting, but was calculated by him and had her mermaid pearl snatched away. Her elder sister Long Xi died protecting her. Long Mei made a pact with the witch and came back for revenge. She retrieved her sister's body, instigated Zhao Yidi to defect, exposed Huo Zhenting's crimes, crushed his ambitions in the final battle on the sea cliff, and finally, burdened with shackles, plunged into the deep sea.
