Release Year: Unknown

Plot Synopsis
Since 1938, due to the threat of war, Jacques Jaujard organized the transportation of the important collections of the Louvre to safe areas and then closed it. When the German occupying forces ordered the reopening of the Louvre in 1940, there were not many precious collections left in the museum. Many of the emptied exhibition halls were used by the German army to store the looted trophies. The Vichy government was established in the south, and Paris was "taken over" and spared from the destruction of gunfire. In that strange and terrifying "peace". Metternich and Jaujard, who should have been in two opposing camps, formed a strange alliance. They defended the order inside the museum and protected the collections from being officially looted by the Third Reich.
