Plot Synopsis

The second daughters of Grand Tutor Si, Si Nanwan and Si Nanzhi, look very much alike. The Prince of Jin has a secret crush on Si Nanzhi, but the emperor takes Si Nanwan as his concubine. The couple of Grand Tutor Si asks Si Nanzhi to enter the palace to bear a child on behalf of her elder sister. After the Prince of Jin kills his elder brother and ascends the throne, he consummates his marriage with Nanzhi. Due to a misunderstanding, Nanzhi thinks she is just a substitute and treats Gu Ci, the Prince of Jin, coldly. To make her jealous, Gu Ci makes the princess sent for marriage a noble consort and also imprisons Nanzhi in the Glazed Hall.
