Plot Synopsis

Princess Liangguo, Yao Mingyu, accidentally got acquainted with Zhou Chuming, the民间厨神 (I assume it should be something like "the God of Cuisine among the common people") in the folk. Little did she know that Zhou Chuming was actually the orphan of a court official who had been wrongly accused under the incompetent rule of the monarch of Liangguo. Without knowing each other's identities, Yao Mingyu and Zhou Chuming completed the transformation from friendship to the budding of romantic feelings. On the other hand, Yao Mingyu's identity as not being the biological daughter of the monarch was also made public. The second prince revealed the feelings for Yao Mingyu that he had hidden for many years and was determined to possess Yao Mingyu for himself. Under Zhou Chuming's plan to strive for a good monarch for his parents and the common people in the country, and under the second prince's conspiracy of hating Yao Mingyu for life because he couldn't have her love, Yao Mingyu went through numerous twists and hardshi
