Plot Synopsis

During the period of the Republic of China, there was an apprentice in a pot-making workshop. He was quite excellent in the art of making pots and had been a childhood sweetheart with a girl. After the pot-making workshop encountered changes, the girl was forcibly taken away from him by her cousin. Although the cousin resolved the economic crisis of the pot-making workshop, he also caused a lot of troubles, separating the apprentice and the girl and even causing the girl's death. At the Pot King Competition, the apprentice won the championship, but was framed by that cousin as having assaulted others and was driven out. Fortunately, he was saved and accompanied by the daughter of a doctor, and gradually won her heart. Just at this moment, the sad news of the girl's death came. In grief, the apprentice found new love and was enlightened by the ancient pot given by the doctor. Eventually, he devoted himself to studying the art of making pots and became a master of purple clay in his generation.
