Plot Synopsis

Xu Qingyao and Xu Han were separated in their early years, with only a golden hairpin as a token for recognizing each other. As the years passed by, Xu Qingyao was determined to search for the lost Xu Han. At that time, Xu Han wanted to sell the golden hairpin, but it caught the eye of Zhao Wanling, the daughter of the county magistrate. Zhao Wanling was malicious and tried to cut the weeds and dig up the roots, eager to get rid of Xu Han. Thus, an entanglement revolving around the golden hairpin and the fates of the characters unfolded.
