Plot Synopsis
Kublai Khan was recognized by Genghis Khan since childhood and was said to be destined for great achievements. Kublai Khan was good at devising strategies since he was young. When he grew up, he offered advice and suggestions to Möngke. However, Möngke believed the slanderous remarks and thought that Kublai Khan had ulterior motives. Thus, he deprived Kublai Khan of the power to govern the Central Plains and ordered him to conquer Tubo and Dali in Yunnan. Kublai Khan gradually wiped out the Dali Kingdom in Yunnan and negotiated peace with the Southern Song Dynasty.
