Plot Synopsis

As soon as Wu Zhi opened his eyes, he found himself turned into Wu Dalang lying on the sickbed. Facing the medicine brought by Pan Jinlian, the memories from the later generations scared him so much that he knocked over the bowl of medicine. By accident, he discovered that Pan Jinlian was not like what was recorded in the later generations. Looking at Pan Jinlian's virtuous and industrious figure, the idea of wanting to protect her sprouted in his mind. However, he was ridiculed and framed by the likes of Wang Po and Xi Menqing, and almost lost his life. Fortunately, after encountering an opportunity and breaking the shackles on his body, he embarked on the road of making a comeback.
