Plot Synopsis

Five years ago, a crisis quietly descended. Su Chengming was bewitched and embezzled public funds from his daughter Su Qingyu's company to speculate in stocks, but ended up losing everything and having a huge deficit. Knowing that if the matter was exposed, it would affect his daughter, he shamelessly begged his son-in-law Gu Xuan to take the blame for him and also promised to leave the company shares to Gu Xuan. Gu Xuan agreed reluctantly for the sake of Su Qingyu.
