Plot Synopsis

In 494 BC, the Yue army suffered a crushing defeat in the Battle of Fujiao. The hegemony of the State of Wu was initially established, and the State of Yue was on the verge of extinction. Xi Shi and her father fled to the capital city to make a living, but were coerced and insulted by the generals of the State of Wu, and her father died tragically while protecting her.
