Chen Yan finally understood that he only had the path of imperial examination to take. So, he began to strive hard, overpowered the son of the eldest branch, and even accidentally snatched the top position that was pre-determined for the son of a powerful official. From then on, he stirred up a hornet's nest. Unfairness such as leaky houses, toilet cubicles, and suppression by examiners接踵而来. Chen Yan got angry. Since they wouldn't let him lie flat, then he would strive to death those old guys in the officialdom!
Audience Reviews
The kids inside and outside the family acted well. Also, I really like the settings of the adoptive parents and their biological son. Hurry up and bring up the second part!
Fast-paced and exciting novels. The kid is quite smart.
The kids performed quite well.
Taking advantage of the fact that the protagonist is a child, the plot is very ordinary and has no highlights.
The young actors are both good-looking and have acting skills, and the others are also excellent.
After watching this, one would involuntarily think of those so-called "national learning masters". Can that pretentious guy who writes in a strange floating manner really compare with the ancient top scholars in the imperial examinations? After all, no matter how profound the national learning is, there are differences in life concepts between ancient and modern times. How could one adapt and integrate so easily... However, it's undeniable that the male protagonist is diligent. An adult dressing up as a child is clearly a form of overwhelming superiority, yet he is constantly called a child prodigy. Aren't they ashamed? But he acts like an adult later. The whole story is actually a prelude. It belongs to the male-oriented cool story type, but actually, the sense of excitement is not as good as that of "A Young Man in Splendid Attire". The young actor Zhang Jingxi is excellent, having a kind of overwhelming superiority among his peers. There is indeed a bit of adult shrewdness in his eyes.
A master of traditional Chinese culture is reborn as a child, using his wits to confront the powerful and wealthy. The actors deliver excellent performances, and the plot is simple yet wonderful. See how the scholar breaks the deadlock in times of crisis. The only flaw is that the scenes where he convinces the Imperial Exam Candidate Zhou and Master Yang are cut, leaving the audience unsatisfied! The climax is in the yamen! Worth watching!
So good-looking!
The acting skills of the young male lead are so vivid. Looking forward to his growth. But first finish filming the remaining seasons of this drama.
Haha, so refreshing! Having read too many stories about love and romance, it's really refreshing to read something like this. "All pursuits are base except the pursuit of learning!"
Haha, So funny!
Without a system, relying entirely on one's own true talent and learning. Both biological parents and adoptive parents are very kind people. The male protagonist is a super hard worker.
