Plot Synopsis

In the early years of the Republic of China, the bronze lion, a national treasure in Yingcheng, was stolen. Constables Liu Chun and Li Lang were ordered to arrest the antiquities traffickers. During the arrest process, the antiquities traffickers escaped under the cover of the internal staff of the police station. Since then, Liu Chun and Li Lang were wrongly accused and dismissed from the police force. Having suffered this unjust treatment, they decided to return to Yingcheng to arrest the antiquities trafficker Meng Fanping.
